Over 400 years ago, Duke Wilhelm the V founded the Hofbräuhaus in 1589. Since then, the brewery and pub (beer) have made history. People from all over the world are attracted to the Hofbräuhaus am Platzl in the heart of Munich to experience Bavarian inn culture with its cosiness, hospitality and of course good food and excellent beer. Our Hofbräu beers, such as the Hofbräu Original, the Hofbräuhaus Hell and seasonal specialties such as the tasty Hofbräu Maibock or the popular Hofbräu Oktoberfest beer are served. A small selection of beers and the original glasses can of course also be found in our shop. 

As a fan of the Hofbräuhaus and its Bavarian attitude towards life, it is worth browsing through our shop and bringing home a piece of the Hofbräuhaus tradition and its joie de vivre.
